KIDS at Telford Minster

At Telford Minster KIDS, we aim to create safe and open spaces where children can discover Jesus for themselves, grow as apprentices to Him, build friendships and have a whole lot of fun!
From 0-11yrs there are activities, groups and events happening each week and throughout the term to try out or get involved with, including our 10am Gathering every Sunday.

- Quiet Baby Room with Gathering stream. -
Kids check in at the welcome desk on entry to church and join in with the main church family at the start of our gatherings.
Later, the kids head out to worship together and the sessions include songs, fun, games and crafts around a theme from the Bible.
10am – We have Minster Kids groups for 2-11yr olds.
In the sanctuary, there is a sofa area with toys for babies and younger toddlers. We also have a room for babies and younger toddlers where parents can sit with toys and watch a livestream of the Gathering.

Secondary school ages: 7:30-9:15pm
Tuesdays (Term-Time) -
Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Association is all about the growth of Christ’s Kingdom among younger generations. Come along and get involved in sports, games, outdoor adventures, and skill-building opportunities while making new friends and being part of a supportive community. It’s a place where you can grow, learn, and have a great time along the way!

Parents and carers come along with their child/ren for the chance to chat and play in a relaxed environment. Refreshments are available for the adults throughout the session, children finish with a story, song time and a snack.
Consent + Safeguarding
We require a parental consent form to be completed for children to attend Minster Kids. You can see and fill in the form here.
At Telford Minster, we take safety very seriously. We believe that everyone should be able to engage with God and our church family in a safe and welcoming environment, especially children, young people and vulnerable adults.

All our Minster Kids groups are for Primary-aged children.
At our 10am Gathering we start together for some worship songs then (team allowing) we split into two age groups. Reception - Year 3 and Year 4-6 for our time of Bible study and teaching.

Lots of things! Each week we’ll look at a different story or theme in the Bible, and unpack it together, through games, stories and craft. We’ll also have times of prayer and worship, and lots of play too!

Our fantastic Minster Kids Team! All of our team have been through our safer recruitment process, safeguarding training and have enhanced DBS checks so you’re in safe hands.
Parents/carers are able to enter the groups to settle children. We will come and get you if your child is upset or needs you!
