WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAKING JESUS KNOWN FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN TELFORD, IN THEIR SCHOOLS AND IN THE PLACES THEY GATHER.

Our vision is to be the place in Telford where you can build community with people of your age, where you can experience church for the first time or the fiftieth time, where you can grow in your personal relationships with God and where you can create space in your teenage life to be World-Changers and Kingdom-Builders.

SUNDAYS AT TELFORD MINSTER

Join our church family for a relaxed and welcoming space where we worship, pray, and explore the Bible together in real and relevant ways. Everyone’s welcome—bring your questions, bring your friends, and come as you are.

4pm

At our 4pm gathering, young people start off worshipping with the whole church family. Partway through, they head upstairs for their own youth session - a space designed just for them.

We dive into the Bible in fun and relevant ways, ask big questions, and discover how faith connects with real life. There are snacks to munch on, games to play, and time to build great friendships.

It’s a place to grow, belong, and explore what it means to follow Jesus - together.

Consent + Safeguarding

We require a parental consent form to be completed for young people to attend Minster Youth. You can see and fill in the form here.

At Telford Minster, we take safety very seriously. We believe that everyone should be able to engage with God and our church family in a safe and welcoming environment, especially children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We work hard to ensure that this happens as best we can – please check out our safeguarding page for more information.

If you would like to give permission for your young person to leave groups independently the form can be found here.

WHAT TO GET INVOLVED WITH MID-WEEK:

  • YOUTH VILLAGE

    Monday evenings 19:00 - 20:30

    Looking for a mid-week, small group youth community?

    A chance to go deeper into the Bible with a group of young believers. Come and ask big questions and have an amazing discussion with great people and great food!

    Years 7 - 13

    Parents can be added into the WhatsApp group to get weekly updates of information about Village!

  • FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH

    Do you want a space to hang out with your friends on a Friday?

    Every Friday night from 19:00pm - 20:30pm, Telford Minster will be open with a chillout space, a gaming lounge, tons of table games, indoor football & an interactive biblical talk.

Mentoring

A Mentors’ role is to point them to Jesus and guide them in their relationship with Him through opening up the word of God, prayer and discussion. We meet regularly with our mentees to encourage them in their faith.
