Point Others to Jesus
At Telford Minster, we are passionate about intentionally walking alongside young people as they navigate the world around them. To encourage who they are and teach them who Jesus is. We provide spaces where young people are listened to, encouraged, and raised up in their gifts to be a voice in and outside of the church walls.
Through worship, teaching, prayer, and building relationships, we want to encourage young people to live out their faith daily with courage and compassion for those around them. For those in Year 7 - Year 13, there are activities, groups and events to get involved in each week, including both our Sunday 10AM and 4PM gathering.
Sunday Gatherings
10AM
FAITH FOUNDATIONS
Sunday mornings are a space for young people to understand what it means to be a Christian. We want to equip young people with the foundations of the Christian faith and for them to know what it means to follow Jesus daily.
Young people join in worshipping with the church family at the start of our 10PM gathering before heading upstairs to their youth group.
3:30PM
ROOTED
Sunday afternoons are a space for young people to go deeper in prayer, worship and their understanding of the Bible. We want young people to be rooted into the church community and step into discipleship in a matured way.
Before joining the 4PM gathering, the young people have a Bible study beforehand to gain understanding of the biblical passage being spoken on in the main space.
CREATIVE WORSHIP NIGHTS
CREATIVE WORSHIP NIGHTS
Once a month on a Monday evening 6-8pm
Our Creative Worship Nights provide space where young people (year 7-year 13) can explore worship in a secure environment surrounded by those their age and a team to support them as they do.
We are passionate about seeing young people in Telford worshipping boldly and freely in the Spirit. We begin these sessions by equipping the young people in the format they would like to explore worship. This could be learning an instrument, learning to sing, learning media, exploring worship through art. We ensure that the young people have everything that they need to flourish as they explore. Young people have been described by parents as coming home “on fire” for what is happening through these sessions.
If you want to explore worship outside of a Sunday, come along! To find out more, click the link to email our Youth Pastor, Nicole.

Young Leaders
At Telford Minster, we are passionate about seeing young people stepping into the gifts that God has given them. To create space for this, we have created a Young Leaders programme where young people can get involved in teams at church. Take a look at how you can get involved!
If you want to find out more about young leaders or you would like to put in an application, email our youth pastor Nicole:
Consent + Safeguarding
We require a parental consent form to be completed for young people to attend Minster Youth. You can see and fill in the form here.
At Telford Minster, we take safety very seriously. We believe that everyone should be able to engage with God and our church family in a safe and welcoming environment, especially children, young people and vulnerable adults.
We work hard to ensure that this happens as best we can – please check out our safeguarding page for more information.
