We started by looking at how to hear Jesus amid the noise and shouting of the world. Hearing and knowing God's voice looks like...

1. Being close to Him, and away from the noise.
2. Choosing restfulness over the frenzy.
3. Embracing community.

On Sunday, we continued into the Way series. Looking at how following the way of Jesus will lead us in lives of truth and the reality of His kingdom, rather than the distortion, lies and unreality of the world around us...

1. God speaks, do you hear and יָדָע(fully and completely know) his voice? Does it soften your heart to His Way, His Truth, His Life?

2. Will you step up as ambassadors of truth, bound in self-giving ἀγάπη (agape) love?

3. As new and daily renewed image bearers, beloved by Christ. Will we abide in His heart, living from its blessing, not to earn it?

Luke 4:16-21

On Sunday, we continued in The Way series, exploring how God calls us to live lives of justice, mercy, and humility… not through effort, but through encounter with Him.

1. What does the Lord require of you? Not performance, but hearts aligned with His acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God. 

2. We cannot manufacture compassion. Justice, mercy, and humility sound beautiful… until we try to live them. These are not achieved by willpower but formed in us as we return to God. 

3. Look to the cross and come back to Him. At the cross, justice and mercy meet perfectly. As we come back to spend time with Jesus, our hearts are renewed, and we begin to live differently walking closely with Him again.
