ANNUAL REPORT
Over the past twelve months, God has done more than we could ever have imagined, and this report offers a glimpse of that. It’s not easy to capture the full depth and breadth of life and ministry at Telford Minster, but we hope what follows gives a sense of how we are joining in with God’s work across Telford as we seek to Make Jesus Known.

EVERYONE BELONGING
We long to be a church where everyone finds a place to call home. A community marked by welcome, authenticity, and deep relationships, where no one stands on the edge but everyone is known and valued. As people step into community, we believe lives are renewed, identity is restored, and faith is strengthened. Belonging is not just about being present, but about being rooted in a church family, journeying together as we follow Jesus.
A key part of this is the life of our Minster Communities, where faith is lived out in smaller, more personal settings. These spaces create room for real relationships, honest conversations, prayer, and shared life together. It is here that people are known, supported, and encouraged to grow in their walk with God. As we look ahead, we would love to see these communities continue to grow and multiply, making space for more people to find home, deepen their faith, and play their part in a church that is truly alive.

EVERYONE PRAYING
We believe that everything begins in prayer. It is the foundation of all we do and the place where we align ourselves with the heart of God. As we grow as a praying church, we are asking for a fresh stirring of faith, boldness, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. We want to be a people who contend for our town, for our schools, for our communities, for our families, and for those yet to know Jesus, trusting that as we pray, God moves, bringing renewal to lives and restoration to communities.
There are many ways we pray together as a church family. Prayer is woven into the life of our Minster Communities, where we regularly gather to seek God and support one another. We meet for Morning Chapel on Thursdays at 9am, creating a rhythm of starting the day in God’s presence. And through our Wide Open Space nights of worship and prayer, we make space to linger, listen, and respond to the Holy Spirit together. As we continue to grow in prayer, we believe we will see God do more than we could ask or imagine.

EVERYONE SERVING
We see a church where everyone plays their part, stepping into the unique calling and gifts God has placed within them. Serving is not simply about meeting needs, but about living with purpose, growing in faith, and becoming more like Jesus. As people step forward to serve, we see confidence rise, gifts released, and a deeper sense of belonging take root. In this, the church becomes more fully alive, with every person contributing to what God is building among us.
Serving takes many forms. It may look like joining a team on a Sunday, helping create spaces where others can encounter God. But it also extends far beyond our gatherings, into everyday life. It looks like choosing to love our neighbours, standing up against injustice, giving time to serve in our communities, and carrying the hope of Jesus into the places we live, work, and spend time. As we embrace this together, we believe we will see not only the church strengthened, but communities restored and lives transformed.

EVERYONE GIVING
We are called to be a generous people, reflecting the heart of God in the way we live and give. Generosity fuels mission, enables ministry, and creates space for others to encounter Jesus. As we grow in giving, we are not only resourcing the work of the church but participating in God’s Kingdom purposes, seeing lives renewed and communities restored. It is an invitation to trust God more deeply and to be part of something far bigger than ourselves.
As we move forward, we do so with a deep sense of unity and shared purpose. This is not about individual effort, but a collective response to what God is doing among us. With faith rising and expectation growing, we believe He will continue to renew lives, restore communities, and lead us into being a church that is truly alive in Him.
